Alan has been coaching with North Ayrshire for 11 years now. With 3 sons swimming in the club he says that making the move onto poolside was a case of ‘if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em.’
He says he gets the greatest satisfaction from seeing the kids progressing and swimming competitively.
Alan believes if coaches show enthusiasm and positivity that will be reflected by the swimmers.
Emma Miller is one of the founders of North Ayrshire Synchro and has been involved as a swimmer, then as a coach and judge since she was 9 years old and was one of the Team GB officials at the 2011 German Open in Bonn.
Emma believes interest in synchro has never been higher since the sport was featured at the Glasgow 2018 European Championships and is delighted our squad offers local children the chance to discover what it’s all about.
We're delighted to have appointed Rheanna Sloss as our Club Coach.
She will work primarily with our Development Squad where we build the foundations for young swimmers so they can progress into the Silver Squad and get ready to start competing.
Rheanna is a former swimmer with North Ayrshire, before training as an aquatics teacher, and believes she brings a unique understanding to the job and can help us build on our reputation as an up and coming club.
